Over the past few years many great things have come to City Metro. While this is great, I want us to look back over the years to some of the amazing things City Metro did from the start to now. Also we'll look in towards the future of some of City Metro's amazing plans.

2022
- City Metro is founded and Light Rail Service is proposed.

2023
- We receive the first City Metro trains, Lego City Electric 717, and our first light rail vehicle #747.
- City Metro rapidly expands with the two main lines, the L (Gold) and the E (Expo).
- City Metro begins subway service with the B and D lines.
- Metroliner services start with the G and J lines.
- The very first Metro Map is created in June, and the L (Gold) is replaced by the A line.

2024
- City Metro's first website is launched at felixfeger46.wixsite.com/citymetro.
- City Metro continues to expand it's light rail, subway, and bus fleet.
- The K line is created and follows most of the original route of the original City MetroLink K line.
- City Metro Ferries is created linking Heartlake Beach and Downtown Santa Mooica.
- The FLX Terminal People Mover finally opens, finally linking all the FLX terminals.
- Union Station Lego City is reconstructed to a new version.
- City Metro launches alerts.citymetro.xyz with statuspage.io to help riders more easily access live status updates.
 - The Republic State Railway and Transportation Agency is created with City Metro and the newly created Republic States Railways to help maintain transportation across the Republic States.

2025
- The K line is extended to service the Airport terminals, including a new stop at FLX T2.
- Line colors are completely removed, and all service are now called by letters only.
- City Metro Ferries is renamed to the Sun City ferry.
- City Metro finally receives an official domain for its website, citymetro.xyz.
- citymetro.xyz is fully redone and changes providers from Wix to Hubspot.
- City Metro Transit Police is established, and Transit Services Divisions of the LCPD and LCSD are moved to the newly created agency.
- Union Station Lego City receives a complete remodel, redesign, and is changed to it's current state with 7 platforms instead of 6.
- City Metro works hard as the FLX Upper Terminal Road collapses and is rebuilt.
- The F Express is created to operate as a express Airport to City service.
- The G and J, formerly Metroliner, services are replaced with City Metro Bus routes.
- The A and E begin to run some extended services to Asian Town station, but eventually on select A line trains run all the way to Asian Town station.
- City Metro creates police.citymetro.xyz as a mobile incident reporting website to help the City Metro Transit Police.

2026
- City Metro removes the F EXP service, and changes the F to serve as the FLX Terminal Connector running between the two terminals.
- The Airport Metro Transit Center is completely redone, allowing for another platform to be used by Regional Rail services such as City Metro-North, City MetroLink, or Republic State Railways.
- K Line service is once again modified and no longer runs to the airport after City Metro-North replaces it's route. It is rerouted to only run occasionally on it's very first route between Asian Town and Lego City Union Station.
- Asian Town station is completely redone to allow for clear signage regarding K and A line trains, as well as regional rail services.
- alerts.citymetro.xyz is moved from statuspage.io to betterstack to allow for better domain access.
- City Metro increases its digital tools by creating trip-planner.citymetro.xyz, map.citymetro.xyz, and metrolink.citymetro.xyz.
- City Metro opens SkyLink in partnership with Lego Theme Park to serve as a cable car connection between Santa Mooica and Lego Theme Park.
- City Metro installs new technology across the system including new faregates, destination boards, signage, elevators, and ticketing machines.
- City Metro refurbishes and repaints all Light Rail trains.
- City Metro names several trains in honor of several people such as Car 513, "Felix".
- felix.citymetro.xyz is launched as the official management and CEO website.
- City Metro officially creates full-wrap liveries for government organizations such as the RHP, City Metro, and the 4 years of City Metro organization.
- City Metro launches the 4 Years of City Metro campaign by repainting rail cars, painting Union Station Lego City with a badge, and rearing all train cars.
- City Metro is praised by the public for its easy to use system, cheap fares, and its amazing safety record.

Wow. That's a lot of things that have happened in the past four years for City Metro. It truly is amazing how much City Metro has grown. We're proud of all these accomplishments we've made. In the future we hope to complete some of these goals.

- Create a physical BrickPass card that works with real City Metro faregates.
- Install new BrickPass smart faregates to all stations.
- Introduce live arrivals online instead of static arrivals.
- Redesign the Trip Planner application to show a real map, along with live arrivals.
- Fully redesign the subway system to allow for actual stations.

Thank you for sticking with us throughout the years as we continue to grow. I hope to personally keep this project going for as long as I can. Still I really want to thank you for staying with me all these years! I'm excited for all the new things City Metro will accomplish in the future.

Yours truly,
Felix
