We all know how hard it is to travel along Interstate 10 through the Death Star City Pass. However this all may not seem to be the case much longer. City Metro's Transportation Division is proud to announce we have started a project to help decrease travel times through the pass. Starting 4/10/26 at 7 PM, crews will begin to lay down a new roadway that will replace the existing one. Vehicular access to this section of Interstate 10 will close at approximately 8 PM tonight. We expect to reopen this section by Sunday, 4/12/26. During this time we will advise that travelers should opt for other transit options. Some alternatives include the City Metro A Line, City Metro Bus, or using surface streets through Death Star City. We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve this heavily trafficked corridor.
